Arrive at the Craft and Cultural Complex, which is a complex dedicated solely to Malaysian handicrafts. Here, you will find an exclusive assortment of craftwork items ranging from forest-based products, batik fabrics (local cottage industry), ceramics, and metal artifacts, to beautiful art objects, wood products, baskets, rattan-based products, and costume jewelry.
Also housed inside this complex are two galleries: a heritage museum that showcases several handicrafts and musical instruments representing the various Malaysian ethnic groups and the Wedding Gallery showcasing the colorful traditional wedding costumes worn by the various communities of multi-ethnic Malaysia.
Your half-day tour will then continue to the Cenang Beach area where you will have free time for shopping. Langkawi is a tax-free island, and many items such as alcohol, chocolates, perfumes, and some kitchenware, are especially good deals here.
Take your time browsing at the many duty-free shopping malls or simply take a break at one of the restaurants in the area, before being returned to the pier for your ship’s departure.

Please wear comfortable footwear for this excursion as there is some walking on uneven ground, inclines and steps.

Local currency is the Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). There is an ATM located near the meeting location. Only a few major establishments accept foreign currency such as USD (with minimum purchase that vary according to respective establishment). As such, it is recommended to have local currency for purchases.
If you will be taking personal belongings on your tour, please ensure you take these with you at the end of the tour.
