Your day tour begins with a warm welcome from our professional guide at the port of Giardini Naxos.
After boarding the bus, we set off toward Savoca, enjoying breathtaking views along the way, including Taormina’s skyline, crowned by its majestic castle perched high above the historic center.
After a scenic drive along winding panoramic roads, we arrive in Savoca.
Our walking tour starts in the main square, home to one of the tour’s highlights: the legendary Bar Vitelli.
This historic bar was the backdrop for several iconic scenes, including the moment when Michael Corleone meets his future father-in-law, Mr. Vitelli.
Surrounded by stunning countryside and coastal views, we continue uphill along charming cobblestone streets to the Church of San Nicolò (also known as Santa Lucia), where the unforgettable wedding scenes of Michael Corleone and Apollonia Vitelli were filmed.
As we explore, your guide will share fascinating stories about Savoca’s rich past and cinematic legacy.
