Overview
The Art nouveau town of Ålesund is your perfect starting point in beautiful surroundings. This tour is ideal for all ages, and audio guides offer several languages for you to fully enjoy your tour.
You will get to know the largest city in the province of Møre og Romsdal, and its unique setting across several islands stretching out into the Atlantic Ocean. Destroyed in 1904 by a devastating fire, it is now noted for its concentration of Art Nouveau style.
Your first stop is the lovely panoramic view of Ålesund and its surrounding archipelago from the Island of the Gods (Godøya).
Continuing on to, visit Alnes Lighthouse with a majestic view where the beaches and waves have turned the destination into a surfer’s paradise. Your entrance fee to the lighthouse is included in your tour ticket, and you will have time to take in the scenery and many photo opportunities to capture these memories.
Your final stop takes you to the top of the city mountain Aksla where there is a panoramic view of the beautiful city centre, the archipelago and the Sunmøre Alps. From Aksla you can walk 418 steps down to the city park.
Once you have taken in these beautiful sights, your tour will return you to Ålesund Pier.
