Begin your day at the Hellesylt cruise port and embark on a scenic journey with your guide to Geiranger, located in the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
En route to Geiranger, you’ll stop at Hornindal Lake—Europe’s deepest lake—measured at an impressive 514 meters (1,686 feet) deep. Take a relaxing break in the picturesque town of Stryn, known for its charming streets, boutique shops, and perfect spots to stretch your legs.
Continue past the stunning Oppstryn Lake and make a photo stop at the Jostedalsbreen National Park Centre, where breathtaking views of Norway’s natural beauty await. A short stop at the Øvstefossen Waterfall offers another great opportunity to capture the scenery on camera.
Your journey then climbs into the mountains, where you’ll visit two of Geiranger’s most iconic sights: the crystal-clear Djupvatn Lake and the famous Dalsnibba viewpoint, perched 1,500 meters (4,920 feet) above sea level. From the top, take in panoramic views of the Geiranger village, Eagle Bend, and the surrounding waterfalls—a truly unforgettable vista.
After soaking in the views from Dalsnibba, you’ll begin the scenic drive back to Hellesylt, bringing a memorable day of exploration to a close.
