Your adventure begins in the heart of Stavanger, where city life quickly gives way to raw Norwegian nature. Upon arrival at the dock, you’ll be fully equipped with warm flotation suits, life vests, goggles, and gloves to ensure comfort and safety in all conditions. Before departure, your experienced skipper will deliver a thorough safety briefing, preparing you for the journey ahead. Then it’s time to board the RIB boats and set off.
The tour begins at a relaxed pace through Stavanger harbor, offering a unique perspective of the city from the water. As you glide past landmarks such as Old Stavanger, Tollboden, and the Norwegian Petroleum Museum, you’ll enjoy a calm introduction before the adventure builds.
Leaving the harbor behind, the skipper gradually increases speed, and soon you’ll be cruising smoothly at around 35 knots. The route winds through the stunning fjord islands outside Stavanger, an area rich in wildlife. Keep your camera ready, porpoises often surface alongside the boats, and sea eagles are frequently spotted soaring overhead.
