Your guide meets you at your hotel and takes you to your private transportation. Your tour starts at the main entrance to the old walled city at Tapae Gate. You will step back in time as you start to explore the ancient city as well as seeing modern Chiang Mai. Your guide takes you to visit 3 majestic temples in the city, each one serene and beautiful. In the centre of the city sits the Buddhist temple of Wat Chedi Luang, it's a beautiful and ancient attraction. Upon entering any temple in Thailand, visitors must dress appropriately with their shoulders and knees covered. Your tour takes you to Wat Phra Singh, a temple that sits in the old city, one of the most sacred, and you will soon feel at peace as you admire the statues and carvings. Your city tour would not be complete without a visit to explore the famous local market Warorot. Here you can find all kinds of ingredients, dried food and fruits, local clothes and even souvenirs. This really is an immersive experience as you take in the local sights and smells, as you wander through this well-known market. At the end of your tour your guide returns you to your hotel.
