Overview
You will be met at Kagoshima cruise port by your guide who will be ready to take you on the discovery of Kagoshima.
The tour will begin with a visit to Sengan-en, a stunning traditional Japanese garden established in 1658 by the powerful Shimazu family. Set against the dramatic backdrop of Sakurajima volcano and Kagoshima Bay, the garden beautifully blends natural scenery with classic Japanese landscape design. Explore its historic buildings and discover the rich history and cultural heritage of Kagoshima.
Moving on the tour will then continue to Tenmonkan, Kagoshima's lively shopping and entertainment district. Stroll through its vibrant streets lined with local boutiques, cafés, restaurants, and specialty shops. Enjoy free time to sample regional delicacies, including Kagoshima's famous Kurobuta (black pork) and Shirokuma, the city's beloved shaved ice dessert.
At the end of the tour you will be returned back to Kagoshima cruise port in plenty of time for your cruise ships departure.
