The afternoon continues at Sovrano Estate, a boutique family-owned vineyard renowned for its authentic Italian heritage. Founded by the Loggia family, whose roots lie in Sicily and northern Italy, the estate blends generations of traditional winemaking with Northland's unique terroir.
Relax in the welcoming cellar door as you sample a selection of current releases while learning about the family's story, their passion for winemaking and the traditions that inspire every bottle.
Your final stop takes you to PhatHouse Brewing Co. at nearby Haruru Falls, where the atmosphere shifts from vineyard elegance to laid-back craft brewing.
Every beer is brewed on-site using natural ingredients and served unfiltered, unpasteurised and preservative free, delivering fresh, full-flavoured brews straight from the source.
Enjoy up to four tastings from a rotating range of craft beers and ciders, including crisp lagers, refreshing pilsners, hop-forward pale ales and seasonal specialties, providing the perfect finale to an afternoon exploring the local flavours of the Bay of Islands before returning to Waitangi Wharf.
