This enriching excursion takes guests on a scenic 40–45 minute drive from Port Caldera through the Costa Rican countryside to a renowned Wildlife Rescue Center, a sanctuary committed to the rehabilitation and protection of the country’s native wildlife.
Upon arrival, guests embark on a guided 1.5-hour walking tour of the facility. During the visit, you'll have the chance to observe and learn about a wide variety of rescued animals, including sloths, howler and capuchin monkeys, scarlet macaws, toucans, and other tropical birds and mammals. Knowledgeable guides share insights into each animal’s journey and the center’s broader mission of conservation and education.
