Overview

On route to Rose Hall Great House, drive up to the High Road for spectacular views and picturesque shots of the ocean and the International Airport.

Make your way through the hustle and bustle towards the famous Rose Hall Great House, once the opulent home of Jamaica's white witch Annie Palmer. She practiced voodoo and had three husbands who all died under mysterious circumstances. Legend has it that she was a beautiful seductress who dallied with the hired help. The house was built in the mid-19th century and is of Georgian architecture.

You will be hosted with a "witches brew" of your choice and at own expense.

Leaving Rose Hall Great House, the tour continues into the beautiful countryside. Nestled in the lush greenery is Greenwood Great House, built in 1690 by the Right Honorable Richard Barrette-Browning, for the lavish entertainment of fellow plantation owners and their guests. Here you shall see a fine collection of antiques and rare musical instruments; a complimentary rum punch or fruit drink is served.

After this delightful and informative tour, return to the ship via our main tourist area -- Gloucester Avenue, popularly known as the ‘Hip Strip’, with landmarks such as the Casa Blanca Hotel – one of the first hotels in Montego Bay – and Doctor’s Cave Beach, once the playground for the rich and famous. A stop will be made at the Craft Market for shopping before returning to the ship.
