Overview

Your Beach Horseback Ride & Swim Adventure begins with a warm welcome from your driver and tour guide, who will transport you to the horseback riding facility.

Upon arrival, the friendly staff will greet you and ensure you’re ready for a fun and safe experience. After a brief safety briefing, you’ll set off on a relaxed, single-file ride designed for riders of all experience levels.

Along the way, your horse may trot gently in select areas as you journey through scenic wooded trails once used by the Taino Indians for hunting. You’ll also pass through a beautiful natural wetland shaded by almond, coconut, and various other native trees. The highlight of your ride is a rare chance to swim with your horse in the crystal-clear waters — a truly unforgettable experience. The entire horseback portion lasts about 70 minutes, including approximately 10 minutes of swimming.

Next, your River Tubing adventure awaits.

Upon arrival at the tubing facility, you’ll be welcomed by a river guide who will assist with registration and safety procedures, including signing a waiver. You’ll be fitted with a helmet, life jacket, and propulsion gloves, then receive a final safety briefing. A short 10-minute walk along a lush jungle path leads to the river’s edge, where your tubing journey begins.

Jump into the cool, refreshing water and navigate through exciting splashing rapids as you paddle down winding river bends. Along the way, you’ll drift beneath an old stone bridge and enjoy a peaceful float toward the Caribbean Sea. Finally, you’ll paddle over gentle waves that bring you ashore on the sandy beaches of Bengal Bay, completing your exhilarating and scenic tubing experience.

Considerations

This tour is not suitable for walkers, wheelchair users or motorized scooters.
Sandals are not recommended.
Big bags such as backpacks are not allowed. It is recommended that you bring a small bag or fanny pack that can go across your shoulders in front of you.
This tour is not suitable for guests with severe medical conditions, back or neck problems, heart or respiratory problems, recent surgeries or pregnant guests.
Minimum age to participate is 6 years old.
General weight checks will be done. Maximum weight is 230 pounds per person, and no refunds will be given.
Bring cash and/or credit card for any additional purchases on the day.
Gratuities/Tips are not included in your tour, if you would like to leave a tip, please bring cash.

Special Instructions

This tour departs 30 minutes after actual ship arrival.
Wear your swimwear, water shoes/sneakers and bring your beach towel.
It is recommended you wear proper attire long pants/shorts just below the knee. Bare legs are not recommended, however if you wish to ride in shorts, please bring a towel.
Bring your sunglasses, sunscreen, sunhat and water bottle.
Wear comfortable walking shoes.
Bring your camera to capture wonderful memories of your time ashore!
