Imagine the thrill of playing with dolphins!
Action and speed make this program so popular, as it really lets you interact with these friendly marine mammals. The program begins with a briefing about the dolphins and an explanation of the activities you will experience.
Then from your submerged platform in the water, you will be able to interact with the dolphins.
They will give you a handshake with their fins and a peck on the cheek! They will gladly let you pet them and give them a cozy hug.
Your two new dolphin friends will then take you on a speedy ride through the water (life jackets required) as you hold on to their fins. This exciting dorsal tow is a favorite among guests!
But perhaps the highlight of your incredible experience will be the famous dolphin foot push. Feel all their strength as the dolphins push you up and through the water by the bottom of your feet.
This is truly the experience of a lifetime!
Please be advised that due to security reasons, the use of cameras in the water is not allowed. But don't worry, professional photographers will be on hand to capture these magical moments for you. (Photo prices vary based on the package you purchase.)
Each session includes a 15-minute briefing and 60 minutes of swim time with the dolphins. Group size is limited to 10 people to ensure that you have a very personal experience. There is bonus time included to interact with sea lions and manatees!

PLEASE NOTE: The location of this dolphin swim facility is in the Puerto Aventuras area and is appropriate for guests staying at hotels south of the city of Playa del Carmen and as far south as the Tulum area. This includes properties such as; any with 'Xcaret' in the name, Hard Rock Riviera Maya, Bacelo Maya properties, the Grand Palladium, Secrets Akumal and any with 'Tulum' in the name.... If your hotel is north of the city of Playa Del Carmen, please look at the selection of excursions available from our PLAYA DEL CARMEN page.

Very important: You must bring your prepaid voucher or you will not be allowed to participate in this program - no exceptions.

The transfer cost is not included for participants. For participants, the price is $10 per person. For observers, there is a $15 (per person) roundtrip transportation fee, payable at the time of the transfer.

There is no charge for observers to enter the park.

Please note that the Dolphin Swim facility does not accept US cash in their restaurants, boutiques, and photo purchase stations.

Children over 3'3" and up to 3'9" must be accompanied by two paying adults (2 adults per child).

Children over 3'9" up to 4'6" must be accompanied by a paying adult (1 adult per child).

Children over 4'6" will be allowed to participate alone by paying the adult rate.

Children under 3'3" tall are considered infants and will do the Encounter program activities (kiss, hand target, and handshake) regardless of the program in which they participate.

All infants must fit into the life vests required during the program.

All children are subject to measurement upon arrival. Please measure your child prior to booking to ensure you are purchasing the correct program.

Non-swimmers are welcome but must be comfortable in deep water.

Each person is required to wear a life jacket.

For the safety of the animals, please use only biodegradable sunblock.

Jewelry, watches, rings, bracelets, or any object that might scratch the dolphins are not allowed.

Pregnant women are not allowed to participate.

Maximum of 10 people per time slot.

Guests must follow the rules of the guides/instructors at all times.
