Your day of exploration and adventure begins when you're picked up from Basseterre and taken on the short drive to the edge of the St. Kitts rainforest. Here you'll meet your tour guide who will escort you around this beautiful tropical jungle. They will give you an insight into the ingenious plants which flourish in this distinct climate, point out some of the many animals which roam the area and explain how some of the vegetation is been used for medicinal purposes.
You'll then be allowed to explore the area, where you can try and catch a glimpse of the vervet monkeys which roam the area, look for the many creepy crawlies hidden under rocks and leaves or try and discover the names of the species of tropical birds which fly overhead.
This wonderful tour will allow you to see first-hand the incredible species which live in the rainforest in their natural surroundings.
Once you've explored the tropical forest you'll have time to relax and enjoy a choice of complimentary sandwiches and drinks, before popping back on the coach and heading to Basseterre port.
