Overview
Travel in comfort aboard a fully air-conditioned coach from your cruise port or hotel, beginning with a scenic drive through the capital city of Castries and into the island's lush interior. As you ascend to a village nestled more than 2,000 feet above sea level, you'll enjoy spectacular views of St. Lucia's breathtaking countryside. The journey from the northern port or hotel to our base station takes approximately 30 minutes.
Upon arrival, you'll receive a brief orientation and safety briefing before boarding the Aerial Tram for an unforgettable journey through the rainforest canopy.
The St. Lucia Aerial Tram offers a unique bird's-eye view of one of the Caribbean's oldest and most pristine oceanic rainforests. Nourished by warm tropical rains and fertile volcanic soils, this ancient forest is home to an extraordinary diversity of plants and wildlife.
As your open-air gondola glides smoothly through and above the treetops, you'll discover towering rainforest giants draped with twisting vines and surrounded by dense tropical vegetation. Brilliant displays of lavender blossoms, vibrant orange flowers, golden berries, and delicate white blooms flourish among fragrant flowering trees. Majestic Chatannier, Magnolia, and Gommier trees dominate the landscape, providing vital habitat for St. Lucia's endemic and endangered parrot.
From this elevated perspective, experience the rainforest as few ever do, an enchanting world of vibrant colours, rich biodiversity, and timeless natural beauty.
The aerial tram features sixteen open-air gondolas, each comfortably accommodating up to eight guests along with a knowledgeable guide, ensuring an informative and memorable rainforest adventure.
The Hummingbird Cafe and the Amazonas Gift Shop (duty-free) are also available at our premises for your convenience.
This tour has neither age restrictions nor physical restrictions as we are wheelchair accessible, simply be prepared to have fun and learn about the rainforest.
