Your day will begin with a discovery of the capital city of Kingstown with its historical buildings, churches and Cenotaph.
With Saint Vincent known for its yacht filled harbors and volcanic landscapes, your day will begin with a drive to Kingstown, St Vincent's Capital city. Pass by the historical buildings and Cenotaph, and sit back and relax while the guide will tell you all about the history of the churches and sites along the way. See how the Cenotaph is decorated with the 61 names of the sons of Saint Vincent who gave their lives in the Great War, 1914-1918.
From here we will then begin our journey on to the Vermont Nature Trail. The trail will start near the top of the Buccament Valley. Located only 5 miles from the capital it is approximately 4000 acres. You will be lead through the tropical rainforest with an amazing variety of tropical flora, ending up with beautiful scenery where there is a chance of seeing and hearing the Islands national bird, the St Vincent parrot, The Amazona Guildingii in its natural habitat and the Whistling Warbler with are both unique to St Vincent and strictly protected nationally and internationally.
After being immersed into the rainforest we will head back over the the capital, Kingstown, where we will make a stop at the beautiful Table Rock, as well as the water catchment in Vermont which supplies most of the Leeward side of St Vincent and the Grenadines and Kingstown with water. Table Rock is an escape into nature with its fresh running water cascading through and over the unique rock formations.
No trip to the Caribbean would be complete without a taste of the local tipple!
As your day comes to an end you will then make your way with your guide back to the cruise port in plenty of time to meet your ship
