This private full day tour is a perfect choice to see beautiful Florence. Your transportation for the day can accommodate a maximum of 1 wheelchair and 5 guests.
Your tour can be tailored to what you and your party would like to see and do in Florence. We have included a suggested itinerary, but of course, this can be arranged according to your requirements.
Florence is a very popular Italian city and holds many wonderful attractions. It is a Renaissance city situated in the heart of Tuscany and has some of Italy's best museums, beautiful cathedrals and churches, and many interesting streets that lead to squares offering elegant buildings and fabulous architecture.
Your tour includes many highlights and you will be visiting some of the most beautiful places such as the Duomo, the famous cathedral dome that dominates the skyline of Florence, with its eight white ribs set against a background of terracotta tiles. Also, Giotto’s Tower, the Baptistery, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, and Piazza Santa Croce which is the largest Franciscan church in Italy that holds the tombs of several important Florentines including Michelangelo and Dante.
The vast interior contains some exceptional stained-glass windows and frescoes. One of Brunelleschi's most important works, the Cappella dei Pazzi, is also in Santa Croce. We will have the opportunity to enjoy some lunch (at your own expense) and then afterward your tour will continue to see much more Italian Art.
You will have free time to explore the narrow streets full of shops, café bars, and trattorias – or simply relax and admire the beautiful views across the river. Your tour concludes with a leisurely journey back to the port of Livorno in plenty of time for your cruise ship's departure.
Areas of this ancient Italian city will involve walking on uneven ground, cobbled streets, inclines and steps, comfortable footwear is a must! Your driver will point out the best routes for your wheelchair guests, however it's easy to get carried away in the beautiful streets of Florence!

There is a dress code if you wish to enter religious sites such as cathedrals and churches. During the summer time, most of the religious communities require women to cover their shoulders and knees in sign of respect.
