Overview
This tour departs in the afternoon, for a thrilling desert drive over the golden sand dunes, deep into the heart of the desert in a 4 x 4 vehicle. A fabulous view of the sun setting over the desert dunes are some of the memories you will cherish from the desert drive. Hold onto your seats whilst your experienced driver takes you up and down the sand dunes, what an amazing experience!
During the sand dune journey, you will also get an opportunity to stop at a camel farm, which is also in the middle of the desert. Here you will be able to take a break and learn how the camels are kept and perhaps take a few photos.
After the camel farm we depart for the desert camp, where a traditional Arabian welcome awaits each of you. Enjoy the true Arabian ambiance, at this typical Bedouin campsite, with traditional Arabian carpets, low tables, and cushions for comfortable seating. At the desert camp, you will be able to experience a camel ride, try out sandboarding, henna painting or simply enjoy the aromatic Sheesha.
Dinner will be provided at the camp with a sumptuous buffet dinner with a wide variety of barbecue meats, salads, pasta, rice and deserts.
After dinner, why not settle down to watch the stunning evening performance by the local belly dancers and tanoura dancers under the starlit sky.
After a fabulous afternoon and evening and once the entertainment has been completed you will rejoin your driver who will then take you back to the cruise ship in plenty of time for your cruise ships departure.
