Overview
Get a true feel for the beauty of Ketchikan when you leave the town behind and travel north to the incredible beauty of the Tongass National Forest.
Climb into these stable tandem sea kayaks and move silently into the clear, calm protected waters of Clover Pass and Eagle Island. As you paddle, your guide will tell you about the natural and cultural history of this area.
On this family-friendly tour, both novice and experienced kayakers will enjoy this paddle for an up-close and personal look at a wide variety of inter-tidal life, maybe even sea stars if the tide is right. Our view of seals, eagles, Pacific porpoises, Sitka deer, and sometimes humpback and orca whales will be from farther away, but still exciting. At the end of your tour you will enjoy your return transfer back to your cruise pier, with wonderful Alaskan memories!
