Overview
One possible dive site you might visit is Tahiti's lagoon.
Its clear turquoise water will make you feel like you're diving in an aquarium.
This sandy-bottomed lagoon is home to dazzling coral reefs and an abundance of colorful fish. You're likely to spot angelfish, lionfish, triggerfish and many others.
Another possible site is a wreck dive. Often, in order do wreck diving you have to head down deep.
But even in the lagoons shallow waters you can explore a plane wreck and 2 boat wrecks.
All of these former modes of transportation were intentionally placed here as artificial reefs.
And as expected, local sea creatures have taken up residence in, on and around them.
