Overview

If you are looking for a unique experience - this is it! A sidecar is a motorcycle with a car attached to it; making it a tricycle, and can take up to three persons, two on the bike and one in the cart.

You won't be doing the driving but 1 or 2 persons can book a sidecar, where you sit back and enjoy the views! Your liscensed driver guide meets you at your cruise port and starting in Funchal, hop into your vintage sidecar, helmets on, you are ready to start your journey to the coast!

Settle in for your ride through the spectacular landscapes of the Western coast as you journey towards Calheta. Bring your sunglasses, as your destination is known for being the sunniest on the island! If the sun is not out, you will not be disappointed as this is a beautiful location.

On arrival you will have time to enjoy the views of the golden sands at Calheta Beach and discover the many yachts and boats at the Marina. This tour passes through villages and towns and offers the best sightseeing of the South West and the interior of Madeira.

If time permits, you may enjoy a stop to taste local patisserie, local drinks including Madeira Wine and “Poncha”,

Throughout your tour, your driver will communicate with you during the trip via a wireless device in your helmet, so you will not miss any interesting fact or attraction during your ride.

Time to hop back on your side car for your return journey, that takes you back to your cruise port.

Considerations

Hotel guests for Funchal, Caniço and Câmara de Lobos pick up points to be arranged at the time of booking.
Food, water, entrance fees are not included.
