The first stop is the charming mountain village of Njeguši, renowned for preserving authentic Montenegrin customs and culinary traditions. Here, guests will enjoy a tasting of local specialties including smoked ham, regional cheese, homemade bread, and traditional wine, all served in a warm and rustic atmosphere that reflects the spirit of the Montenegrin highlands.
The journey then continues to Cetinje, the historic royal capital of Montenegro and today known as the country’s cultural and museum center. Back in Kotor, guests will discover one of the best-preserved medieval towns in the Adriatic. Nestled within impressive defensive walls and framed by dramatic mountain scenery, Kotor’s Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site rich in history, architecture, and atmosphere. During the guided walking tour, an experienced guide will introduce the town’s fascinating heritage, including the remarkable 5-kilometer-long city walls that climb steeply toward the Fortress of St. John. Originally constructed by the Venetians beginning in 1420 and strengthened over several centuries, these fortifications successfully protected the town from numerous sieges and attacks.
The tour also includes a visit to the magnificent Cathedral of St. Tryphon, one of the most important Romanesque monuments on the Adriatic coast. Built in 1166, the cathedral features impressive architecture with alternating square pillars and antique columns dividing the nave from the aisles, while its interior preserves centuries of religious and artistic history.
