If you are looking for a comfortable journey to and from Florence, then this is the shuttle service for you! Easily reach Florence with the convenient transfer service from Livorno center during your cruise in Italy!
Once you have disembarked your cruise ship, take one of the shuttle buses (around 15 minutes journey and to be paid on the day; around 5 Euros per guest, for a return ticket) that takes you from the pier to Livorno Center.
When you have arrived at the drop off point in Livorno, Via Cogorano, your representatives will be waiting for you and guide you to your shuttle transport for your day ashore!
Spend free time in Florence, the home of Renaissance, surrounded by rolling hills and by its priceless heritage of Renaissance art and architecture.
Explore at your leisure, taking in the sights of this spectacular Italian city. Perhaps spend your time dining in the many open-air restaurants sampling the local cuisine? Tuscan cuisine is renowned for its earthy forest flavors and fresh produce. What better way to spend your time than eating with the locals? Or maybe you prefer to immerse yourself in the artistic and architectural ancestry that Florence holds close to its heart?
Don't forget your camera as a walk through the city, discover sights such as Giotto's Bell Tower, a splendid example of Florentine Gothic architecture from the 1300s which can be admired from the outside and the inside. You could even climb to the top and feast your eyes upon the incredible Florentine skyline and the rolling hills that surround the city. The Ponte Vecchio, or Old Bridge is not to be missed, there have been shops on Ponte Vecchio since the 13th century and has fabulous views along the Arno river.
Florence is also home to the Accademia Gallery which houses Michelangelo's David, easily the most famous sculpture in the world. Once inside, you'll also see Michelangelo's unfinished and powerful Prisoners, along with works by Perugino, Giambologna, Botticelli and Alessandro Allori. (Entrance tickets not included in the tour price).
After you have taken in the sights of Florence, you will make your way back to your coach at your prearranged meeting time and location, where you can enjoy the scenic drive back to Livorno center and take your return shuttle back to your cruise ship, ready to board your ship with plenty of time.
