Overview
The Palma Highlights will do exactly what it says on the tin. You will start your journey marveling at the beautiful coastline of Palma, on the way to the main historical highlights of this Island. You will be in awe of the scenery on the approach to the Famous Palma Cathedral dominating the bay of Palma an architectural jewel of the Island.
The tour will also take you to Bellver Castle built between 1300 and 1311 for King James II of Mallorca. The views from the terraces are spectacular and the circular structure makes it a unique example of European Civil Gothic.
In 1928 work began to build the new bullring and the very first race took place in 1929. Over the years the Bullring has become a requested attraction and become very popular with visitors. The Bullring currently holds all different types of events including bullfighting, concerts, and sporting competitions.
The tour will finish with a short stop in the Palma shopping area, where you will be given time to browse the shopping area for souvenirs. Guests will then be taken back to Palma Port to board their ship.
