Overview
This tour offers the perfect opportunity to explore the west coast of Terceira Island and the historic city center of Angra do Heroísmo.
Your journey begins as we head toward the island’s southwest coast, stopping first at the fishing port of São Mateus, where you can observe traditional fishing boats and the preparation of fishing nets.
We continue to Negrito Bay, an important location on Terceira’s historic whaling route.
Next, enjoy a peaceful walking tour around Lagoa das Patas, followed by a visit to the parish of Cinco Ribeiras, where you'll savor a tasting of four varieties of artisanal cheese.
A delicious lunch at a local restaurant is included.
In the afternoon, we explore the UNESCO World Heritage city of Angra do Heroísmo on foot, visiting highlights such as Alto da Memória, the Duque da Terceira Garden, and the Angra do Heroísmo Museum.
