This unforgettable experience takes place at the Punta Loma Natural Reserve, located approximately 15 km from Puerto Madryn.
Upon arrival, participants receive a comprehensive pre-dive briefing that explains proper behavior within the protected natural area, the authorized diving zone, and the dynamics of the activity.
The snorkeling takes place in shallow waters, with a maximum depth of 5 meters, ensuring a safe and relaxed experience for all participants.
Once in the water, the encounter unfolds naturally, the sea lions lead the interaction.
Curious and playful, they approach divers on their own terms, creating spontaneous and magical moments while participants remain respectful observers, adapting to the animals’ behavior.
This half-day adventure immersed in Patagonia’s marine wildlife.
Tour Itinerary:
- • Meet your guides and instructors at the designated meeting point in Bv. Almte Brown 1070, Puerto Madryn, Chubut
- • Brief welcome and group organization
- • Walk to the beach and boarding
- • Navigation to Punta Loma
- • Disembark on a small beach in the Punta Loma Protected Natural Area, where we will receive theoretical instruction on snorkeling techniques, behavior within the protected area, and how to behave within the area
- • Once we are all fully equipped, we will begin to enter the water and, little by little, the wolves will start to approach us. We will swim with them for around 45 minutes
- • Navigate back to the beach
