Overview
On this 5-hour tour you will get to know the most southern protected natural area and the only National Park with sea shores: The Tierra del Fuego National Park. Access to this park is via the National Route No 3, which runs across the eastern side of Buenos Aires.
Located close to the city of Ushuaia, the Tierra del Fuego National Park stretches 60 km (37 miles) north from the Beagle Channel along the Chilean border. Its 630 km2 (244 sq. miles) include parts of the Fagnano and Roca lakes, the second of which opens into the Lapataia Bay on the southern coast, a popular point for hiking. The park has dramatic scenery, with waterfalls, forests, mountains and glaciers. The park's topography is very wide-ranging with mountains, rivers, valleys and lakes. It is very rich in flora and fauna with a large number and an ample variety of species.
While walking across Lengas forest, you can admire some wild animals and birds of the region until you reach Lapataia Bay, which is the end of the National Route 3.
At the end of this tour you will be return back to the port in plenty of time to meet your ship.
