Overview

The Dolphin Encounter program is especially designed for you and your family to share a special activity where nature merges with fun so eloquently.

The swim with dolphin program is filled with informative and fun facts about the dolphins, making it the ideal activity to introduce kids to nature and these amazing animals.

The program begins with an explanation of dolphins, how they live, and what makes them so special and interesting.

After donning life jackets, you'll enter the water with your trainer by descending a set of stairs to a submerged platform.
The water will be about waist deep and provides the perfect setting to interact with some of the smartest animals in the world. You will then have the opportunity to touch the dolphins and give them a hug and a handshake. If you're lucky, the dolphin will even give you a salty peck on the cheek.

  • excluded Very important: You must bring your prepaid voucher or you will not be allowed to participate in this program - no exceptions.
  • excluded Minimum age to participate is 1 year old, 1-5 years are considered infants and are free of charge and must be accompanied by ONE paid adult (+18 years).
  • excluded 6-12 years are considered children and must be accompanied by ONE paid adult (+18 years).
  • excluded +13 years pay as an adult and can participate on their own.
  • excluded Lockers are included in the price of the tour.
  • excluded After disembarking the cruise ship, you will need to take a taxi to the dolphin swim location. It will take approximately 10 minutes and costs about 10-15 USD each way.
  • excluded Children over 4.6 ft will be allowed to participate alone in any of our dolphin programs by paying the adult rate.
  • excluded Children over 3.9 ft up to 4.6 ft will be allowed to participate alone in the Encounter program.
  • excluded Children over 3.3 ft and up to 3.9 ft will be allowed to participate in the Encounter program accompanied by a paying adult (1 adult per kid).
  • excluded Children under 3.3 ft will be considered infants and will perform Encounter activities regardless of the program in which they participate (it is a requirement that they fit the vest).
  • excluded Non-swimmers are welcome. Each person is required to wear a life jacket.
  • excluded Do not wear sunblock while swimming with the dolphins.
  • excluded Jewelry, watches, rings, bracelets, or any object that might scratch the dolphins are not allowed.
  • excluded For safety reasons, no cameras are allowed in the dolphin encounter area. Professional photos will be available for purchase.
  • excluded Please bring a towel. They are not provided.
  • excluded Pregnant women are not allowed to participate.
  • excluded If you are interested in going to the dolphin swim location as an observer there is no charge. Please be aware that the area where you are able to wait is about 30 feet from the dolphin swim spot and doesn't provide the best vantage point for pictures. Cameras are not allowed in the dolphin swim area.
