Start your adventure with a relaxing 7–10-minute guided walk along the Honokohau Turtle Trail. This scenic path leads to a white sand beach, home to a reconstructed Hawaiian hut and a fascinating lava rock fish trap — an ancient engineering marvel. Keep your eyes peeled for native birds and Hawaiian green sea turtles resting along the shoreline!

Next, enjoy a guided stroll through one of Kona’s most stunning coffee farms, where rows of 100% Kona coffee trees blend seamlessly with lush gardens featuring over 30 fruit types and 50 varieties of flowers. Learn how Kona coffee is cultivated, harvested, and roasted — and enjoy fresh tastings of locally brewed coffee at the scenic rest area overlooking the coast.

Savor a true “Taste of Kona” with a locally inspired, chef-curated meal (*lunch is not included) at this charming open-air restaurant nestled in the hills of Holualoa. Surrounded by natural beauty and sweeping views of the Kona coast, enjoy a delicious lunch prepared with fresh-caught fish, seasonal produce, and tropical flavors. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available.

End your day with a professionally guided walk through the rare Kona Cloud Forest, one of the few cloud forests on Earth (less than 1% of all forests globally!). Discover a thriving ecosystem filled with rare plants, towering tree ferns, and tropical blooms. You may even recognize parts of the trail from scenes filmed for James Cameron’s Avatar. This peaceful and educational experience includes your sanctuary entrance fee.
