Here we will take you on a historic venture around Cu Chi Tunnel, all of these were built and used by fighters during the French and American War in Vietnam. The Historical Cu Chi Tunnels will surely entice you to learn about the Vietnam War.
Cu Chi Tunnel will be remembered for the Vietnam War, Viet Cong, where they were loved and they fought for Vietnam. The people stood until the end of the war making Cu Chi Tunnels the symbol of strong national determination. To this day, nearly half of the tunnels are reserved as a memorial park, in certain areas of the tunnels they have been widened and they have installed low powered lighting so that tourists can now fit through the complex. When you arrive at the tunnel area, you will be amazed by the history behind all of the land, you will learn this by watching a short documentary film, this will give you some insight to what happened in the Vietnam war and the tunnels.
To continue, you will wander through past a little trail and uncover the secret entrances and hidden traps beneath your feet, you will also discover in this full day tour, little bunkers and individual shelters, fighting holes, military workshops and underground smokeless kitchens, this fascinating tour will truly amaze you.
You will also have the chance to sample some of the simple cuisine that the local fighters would have lived on, the history behind Cu Chi Tunnel will help you learn the life behind the local fighters, whilst venturing into the tunnels and explore the complex. You will learn all about how they used to live and the conditions they were in, the hardships they faced and the phenomenal ingenuity employed to maintain their life in the tunnels. You can complete this guided tour of the tunnels by getting the chance to try firing Russian Carbine Rifles AK47s if you wish.
