Your guide will meet you at your hotel, ready to leave bustling Bangkok in the morning and drive West towards the Burmese border.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the change of scenery as your approach the town of Kanchanaburi. Your fist stop is a visit to the Thai-Burma Railways Museum and War Cemetery.
The museum exhibits the historical information displaying the timeline from the construction of the railway to the end of the railway. Discover this important piece of Thai history from the living conditions and the life of prisoners of war, where many people died and why it was called the Death Railway.
Leaving here you head for the bridge on the River Kwai. You will step onboard a traditional longtail boat and enjoy beautiful green scenery as you sail along the river. A delicious lunch is served at a local restaurant.
Before journeying back to Bangkok, you will discover the Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tam Sue). This is an incredible Buddha which is located on a top of mountain and offers a wonderful view of the nearby rice fields.
As your full day adventure comes to an end you will return to your Bangkok hotel in the evening.
