Overview
Your guide will be ready to welcome you at your hotel, from where you will head out for a full day of sightseeing in the locally known City of Angels.
Your sightseeing tour starts with a visit to Wat Pho, home of the Reclining Buddha and the renowned Thai massage school.
From here visit the beautiful Grand Palace, the nation's most revered landmark and houses the mysterious Emerald Buddha, the most respected Buddha image in Thailand. Appropriate dress is required.
Following your visits to the memorable landmarks you are ready to start the afternoon tour. You will board your private long tail boat taking you to a riverside restaurant for a simple but tasty local lunch, then onwards to the peaceful Klong Bang Luang.
You will relax into the trip and float by shops, houses, local temples and vendors on this waterway. The canals once were a major trading route and lined with impressive homes of aristocrats. Your guide will point out local landmarks and cultural idiosyncrasies of the area.
Your boat stops at Baan Silapin, a 100-year-old renovated house that is now home to an art gallery. You will have up to two hours to enjoy the gallery, take part in an art workshop or explore the local community.
Enroute back to the city stop for a visit at the Flower Market, the biggest wholesaler fresh Flower Market in the region to glimpse varieties of orchids and sweet-smelling exotic flowers, best early in the morning or night time to witness busy vendors loading up and down their mopeds, after going through the flower market,
Your tour finishes with a real highlight as you take a Tuk Tuk for afternoon sightseeing around China Town, a busy time of day when the food vendors start setting up their stalls.
Your guide will take you back to the vehicle for your transfer back to your hotel in the late afternoon.
