Step ashore and get ready to explore this bustling city the local way!
You will discover the cities Grand Palace, the nation's most revered landmark that houses the mysterious Emerald Buddha, the most respected Buddha image in Thailand. Appropriate dress is required to enter these landmarks.
There is time to enjoy lunch (at your own expense) which may be taken at a local restaurant nearby the Palace. From here you will visit Wat Pho, home of the Reclining Buddha and the renowned Thai massage school. You will then experience a public taxi boat from Tha Thian pier to Saphan Taksin pier where you disembark and walk to the nearest BTS station and board the sky-train for a short ride to visit Jim Thompson’s House. Explore the house and learn all about this Bangkok home.
After the visit, the opportunity is given for shopping in one of the five huge shopping complexes of the area as your final destination of the day (MBK, Siam Square, Siam Center, Siam Discovery, Siam Paragon), or simply return to your hotel by BTS with your guide.
