Overview
Your tour will begin from the port in Hue, through peaceful roads to discover the beautifully constructed buildings, lush and tranquil vegetation and stunning gardens.
Your first stop will be Tha Om house and gardens, which is owned by an interesting architect. You will be greeted by your friendly host, who will walk you around the ancient house as you listen to his explanations about the principles of feng shui and how various features and the placement of plants meet the feng shui ideal. Here you will enjoy a very delicious lunch, prepared and served by this wonderful family and is the perfect way to relax and indulge the local culture.
The tour will then continue to an exquisite embroidery workshop. This workshop specializes in silk apparel and hand embroidered works of art. Inside you will find a traditional looking Vietnamese courtyard where the craftspeople work so you can see how the items are made. Some premade items will be available for you to purchase - including clothing, wallets and handbags.
At the end of the tour, you will be taken back to the port plenty of time before your ship's departure.
