Overview
Your tour guide will meet you at the cruise port and then guide you to your vehicle ready to depart for Hanoi by air-conditioned vehicle (175km).
Upon arrival, discover charming Hanoi with Temple Literature- the site of Vietnams first University, built in the 11th century, to teach the royals the Confucius theory then pass overview of Ba Dinh Square, President Palace.
A typical lunch will be served at a local restaurant with authentic Vietnamese cuisines.
In the afternoon, we will take Xich Lo (trishaw) to cruise around Hanoi Old Quarter - also known as the Hanoi's 36 streets. This bustling area of narrow streets and alleys is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. Its a great place to explore with plenty of photo opportunities all around you.
Stroll at legendary Hoan Kiem lake, enjoy tasty Vietnamese coffee before transferring back your ship.
After an exhilarating day exploring Hanoi, we will commence the drive back to Halong Bay to re-board the cruise ship.
