Overview
This tour will take you to Kumbalangi Village. Located approx. 15 km away from Cochin port, you will discover how Kumbalangi is a popular fishing village, and a must see destination. It was declared as the first model fisheries and tourism village of India. Here you will have the opportunity to enjoy the activities in the village, for instance boating, fishing, plus be able to see a demonstration of the making of Chinese nets.
This tour will give an idea of how the coconut processing works, along with seeing how the locals control the crab catching and farming process. Take the opportunity to taste the local traditional Kerala lunch in the village before being returned back to the port in plenty of time to meet your ships departure.
