Overview
After breakfast, you will then be picked up by your driver at 9am to begin a fantastic sightseeing tour of Mumbai! Your first stop will be to the Mount Mary Church before heading on to the slums to begin your tour of the area.
You'll begin with a visit to Dhobighat, a unique feature of Mumbai, before heading on to the skillfully laid-out boulevard, the Marine Drive. You'll then head on to the Mani Bhawan, the old residence of Mahatma Gandhi, before continuing on to the Chowpati beach, which is Mumbai's most famous!
You'll then be heading on to the Hanging Gardens, which perches at the top of the Malabar Hill, before carrying on to Mumbai's most famous monument, the Gateway of India! Built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary, this colonial symbol ironically became an epitaph of sorts, as the last British Ships to leave when the Raj ended left from this point.
Your final stop will be to the Victoria Terminus Station. Modeled on the St Pancras Station in London, it really is gothic architecture at its best, complete with carved stone friezes, stained glass windows, and flying buttresses.
Clearly, this tour is an absolutely superb opportunity, and not one to be missed under any circumstances! So, what are you waiting for?! Get booking now!
