Get your culinary skills and taste buds alive with this food tasting tour in Mumbai.
You will be collected from the cruise port and taken on a culinary delight, visiting several food tastings along the way. Learn all about the culture, the history and also the main part of the tour the traditional food eaten in Mumbai.
The tour will commence with a drive to a classic food outlet, a traditional place offering many food tastings in a restaurant in the outlet. Here we will spend approximately 45 minutes, we will then move on to the spice market, known for its many wide variety of spices, this is a popular market for the locals and also the tourists!
During the tour, your guide will be pointing out the points of interest in Mumbai, including the Gateway to Mumbai, standing very central close to the water front.
We will then move on to another food tasting again capturing the essence of the local food. Here are just some of the tastings that will be on offer:
- • Pani Puri (Crispy hollow fried dough balls)
- • Vada Pav (Bombay Burger)
- • Keema Pav (Spiced lamb mince)
- • Pav Bhaji (Spicy mashed vegetables)
There will be other dishes available on the day, this is just a selection of what might be offered. If you have any dietary requirements it is important to advise your guide on the day.
At the end of the tour you will be returned back to the cruise port in plenty of time for your cruise ships departure.
