Overview
This half-day sightseeing tour is a special treat for passengers who are interested in nature and heritage. Your exciting half-day excursion starts with a drive along the bustling waterfront, where you will continue to the northern tip of Penang Island.
You will take a driving along the beautiful bays at Batu Ferringhi, one of Asias most beautiful beaches. You will then circle the island, passing traditional Malay villages, rice fields, and spice plantations.
Continuing your tour, you will head to Entopia by Penangs butterfly farm. Imagine nature's largest classroom and discovery hub, where butterflies and insects are free to come out and play. Within Entopia lies two worlds; The Natureland living outdoor gardens and The Cocoon indoor discovery center. Over 150 species of flora and fauna are being showcased throughout Entopia's entire exhibition.
The last stop will be at a charming kampung village, a fine example of traditional Malay life, where houses are again built on stilts. You will take a short stop for shopping for fruits and spices at your leisure, before visiting the amazing Reclining Buddha Temple. A traditional Thai Buddhist temple that features the fourth-largest reclining Buddha in the world. This magnificent, gold-covered statue is over one hundred feet long and is truly an amazing sight to behold.
You will be returned to the port in plenty of time to meet your ships departure.
