Upon leaving your cruise ship, your guide will welcome you and take you for a short walk to the Marina where your boat for the day is waiting!
Step onboard and meet your Captain, ready to enjoy a great day at sea! Sit back and settle in as you experience the best of the British Virgin Islands. Your Captain will take you to explore the pristine beaches on Jost Van Dyke, have a swim in the crystal blue waters while soaking up the Caribbean sunshine!
Sailing to the North side of Tortola, you choose how to spend your day; you can visit the famous Soggy Dollar Bay at Jost Van Dyke or visit beautiful Sandy Cay. If you feel like trying some snorkeling, just let your Captain know! Your experience is completely customized to you, if you are enjoying one location and want to spend more time there, that's fine or if you want to venture further to another spot, it's up to you! If you prefer to have your Captain choose that's fine too, since your Captain knows the best spots and distances so you can maximize your time onboard!
Jost Van Dyke (sometimes colloquially referred to as JVD or Jost) is the smallest of the four main islands of the British Virgin Islands, measuring roughly 8 square kilometers (3 square miles). It rests in the northern portion of the archipelago of the Virgin Islands, located in the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea. Jost Van Dyke lies about 8 km (5 miles) to the northwest of Tortola and 8 km (5 mi) to the north of Saint John. Little Jost Van Dyke lies off its eastern end.
You can see how easy it is to have an exciting day on the water, on this neighboring island and you can enjoy a beverage and snack onboard as you take in the beautiful scenery. Wherever you choose to spend your 5-8 hours, (depending on your available time) you will return to Tortola with incredible island memories!
