If you just go jump out in the middle of the ocean, it isn't likely that you will run into a dolphin.
If, by a miracle, you do encounter a dolphin, it is even less likely they will get close enough for you to hug. If, by an even greater miracle, you are able to hug this dolphin, please let us know as we will follow you where you go next.
For the sake of success rate and to avoid questioning your sanity, we recommend that you take this opportunity to get up-close-and-personal with one of the oceans most amazing creatures!
What makes the Royal Swim different than any other swim with dolphin program is the famous foot push, where two dolphins lift you out of the water.

This interactive dolphin program also includes the dorsal tow, where two dolphins pull you across the crystal clear water as you hold on to their dorsal fins.
The friendly dolphins will also give you a handshake and hugs and kisses, and show you all the exciting games they love to play in Punta Cana.

You must bring your Venture Ashore prepaid voucher or you will not be allowed to participate in this program--no exceptions.

It is important to arrive 30 minutes before your program, remember you'll receive a short briefing before your swim.

Minimum age to participate 1 year old. 1-5 years are considered infants and are free of charge and must be accompanied by TWO adults (+18 years).

6-12 years are considered children and must be accompanied by ONE paid adult (+18 years) in any program

+13 years pay as an adult and can participate on their own.

Please bring a towel. They are not provided.

The use of safety vests provided by the facility is required.

Maximum of 10 people for a closer experience and will interact with dolphins from a special underwater platform.

This tour includes pick up from Punta Cana area hotels. If you are arriving by cruise ship, please note that we are not able to pick up and you will have to take a taxi about 2 hours in each direction. Please contact Venture Ashore for more information.

Children over 4.6ft will be allowed to participate alone in any of our dolphin programs by paying the adult rate.

To participate in the Swim Adventure or Royal Swim programs, children over 3.9ft up to 4.6ft must be accompanied by a paying adult (1 adult per kid).

To participate in the Swim Adventure or Royal Swim programs, children over 3.3ft and up to 3.9ft must be accompanied by two paying adults (2 adults per kid).

Children under 3.3 ft will be considered infants and will perform Encounter activities regardless of the program in which they participate (it is a requirement that they fit the vest).

All children are subject to measurement upon arrival. Please measure your child prior to booking to ensure you are purchasing the correct program.

Do not wear sunblock while swimming with the dolphins.

Jewelry, watches, rings, bracelets, or any object that might scratch the dolphins are not allowed.

Non-swimmers are welcome. Each person is required to wear a life jacket.

Pregnant women are not allowed to participate.

There is an additional charge of $25 USD per companion (includes admission and transportation). Please be aware that the area where you are able to wait is about 10 meters from the dolphin swim spot and doesn't provide the best vantage point.

Cameras are not allowed in the dolphin swim area.
