Overview
You will begin your tour with a scenic drive towards Dubrovnik old town, where you will uncover some of the most iconic sites of Croatia. These sites have gained even greater fame after serving as locations for the fictional capital King's Landings in the "Game of Thrones" TV show.
After a scenic drive through the Dubrovnik countryside, you will reach the first stop of the tour which is a revered UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will recognize this from the famous TV series, Game of Thrones. This part of the tour is the King's Landing, the fictional capital of the Seven Kingdoms. Your guide will give you commentary throughout the drive talking about the area, the history, and of course all about the iconic famous TV show.
After a short stop here, you will move on towards the Park Gradac. This is located outside of the Medieval Walls that encircle the old town of Dubrovnik (this is also known as Dubrovnik's Gibraltar). This ancient fortress sits on top of a rock overlooking the sea, which is represented as Blackwater Bay in the books. The views are absolutely breathtaking and take in all of the surrounding beauty of this magnificent city.
Continuing on with the tour, you will enter the old town of Dubrovnik, where you will have a brief stop outside of the City Walls for a photo opportunity. You will recognize these City Walls from the famous TV series, Game of Thrones, which has featured these walls in many scenes. Please note that the tour does not include tickets to climb the City Walls.
After a short walking tour with your guide, you will then have some free time to explore the old town by yourself. This is a great opportunity to take advantage of the many shops and restaurants in the area. You will find a lot of souvenirs that you can take home to your friends and family, whilst being able to enjoy the main sights of the Old Town. Make sure you bring your camera for amazing snapshots of Dubrovnik!
After your free time, you will then return back to the port in plenty of time for your cruise ship's departure.
