This tour is ideal for those who like to explore the history and culture of the City, along with experiencing the culinary delights this City has to offer. Just a short 2 hour exploration of some of the best street food tasting, a tour not to be missed.

You can choose to walk or take a taxi from your cruise port, where you will meet you local guide for an immersive experience!

There are many tastings in this tour, including Fried Fish (pesce Fritto) freshly prepared fried fish, from the coast of this region. Within this tour, you will learn all about the art of baking in this vibrant City, capturing the aromas of the local olive oil whilst tasting the focaccia bread made from chickpeas and flour. Whilst food tasting, you will be strolling through the city's narrow cobbled streets, with your guide pointing out the focal sites such as Chiesa di San Lorenzo, the city's cathedral and the birthplace of Christopher Columbus, the city's famous navigator.

The tour will continue with a tasting of the famous pesto, a sauce that originally came from this region. Made from basil and pine nuts, this is one of the most known fragrant delicacy's of the area.

Alongside these culinary delights, you'll have the opportunity to taste two carefully selected local wines, perfectly paired with the flavors of Genoese cuisine. Your expert guide will share insights into the region’s winemaking traditions and the unique characteristics of these exceptional wines.

For dessert, delight in panera, a creamy coffee-flavored ice cream that blends the richness of cream with the boldness of espresso, creating a decadent local treat.
