Florence and Pisa

Overview

You will be met at the port by your representative.

A full day is required to see the surrounding town of Florence.
Your air-conditioned minivan will meet you at the port to start your scenic day out.
With plenty of photo opportunities, this tour covers the essentials of Florence.

Your driver then takes you through the beautiful Tuscan countryside (around 2 hours) to the fascinating city of Florence.
Built on both sides of the Arno River, Florence has had a significant impact not only on the culture of Italy but that of Europe as well.
Our guide will be telling us about some of the churches, palaces and bridges we can see on the journey.

Heading into Florence's city centre you'll see amongst other sights:

          After the Florence tour you will return to your transportation and head towards the quaint town of Pisa with the magnificent Leaning Tower of Pisa and Baptistery.
          This is only a short stop of around 30 minutes in Pisa due to the time constraints and getting back to the port, there will be plenty of time for memorable photo opportunities!
          
          Comfortable shoes are recommended for this tour as there will be a lot of walking involved.
          After a fascinating day discovering and exploring through these charming Tuscan towns, we return to Livorno in plenty of time to re-join our cruise ship.
