THIS IS A PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR
Enjoy a wonderful introduction to the highlights of Taormina and Castelmola with a local English-speaking guide. From the port, we will enjoy a leisurely ride up the hillside to Castelmola. Next we will visit the panoramic Belvedere Square with its unique, breathtaking views of the Messina coast, all of the Taormina bays, the Catania coast, and the majestic Mt. Etna volcano.
Then together we will stroll down several narrow, picturesque streets with wonderful views of the sea and Mt. Etna. Now we will drive down to the medieval town of Taormina.
You will be given recommendations about Taormina’s highlights and then have free time to explore them: the impressive Greco-Roman Theatre, the town’s lively main street, its narrow and scenic lanes, and its many interesting shops. Of course, the recommendations will include several trattorias or pizzerias that serve delicious local food.
You will then return to the port of Messina at the most convenient time for you.
