Your journey begins in Bodrum, a picturesque coastal town known for its whitewashed architecture, turquoise waters, and deep historical roots. The first stop is the impressive Castle of St. Peter, built by the Crusaders in the 15th century. You'll stroll through its towers and fortified walls, including the English Tower, and explore the Museum of Underwater Archaeology, which houses captivating artifacts such as the skull of the Carian Princess and treasures recovered from ancient shipwrecks.

Next, step back even further in time at the site of the Mausoleum of King Mausolus, once counted among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Though earthquakes and time have reduced it to ruins, fragments and exhibits still reveal the grandeur of what was once a marvel of ancient architecture. The stones from the mausoleum were later repurposed by the Knights of St. John to construct Bodrum Castle itself—a fascinating historical connection.

After your morning explorations, you'll head to the serene fishing village of Gümüslük for a well-deserved lunch by the sea (lunch not included in the price). This charming spot is perfect for enjoying fresh seafood and taking in coastal views.
