The Halifax Harbour Timewalk invites you on a laid-back, two-hour wander that begins at the Seaport and loops through downtown before tracing the waterfront back to your starting point. As you move through the former market quarter, past Grand Parade and St. Paul’s, and out toward harbour lookouts and the Narrows, the city’s past reveals itself in unexpected ways. Four mixed-reality “Time Moments” drop you into vivid scenes, from a bustling 19th-century market to a harbour under fire, the devastation of the Halifax Explosion, and the deck of a 1930s lobster boat.
It’s a coastal stroll where the past overlays the present, ending back at Garrison Brewing Co. with the option to unwind over a drink.
