Overview
You will be met at the cruise port, ready for a full day to discover the best of Scotland from the West coast.
Settle into your comfortable and luxury transport, leaving Greenock port behind, as your journey first takes you across the central belt of Scotland towards the county of Stirlingshire - you may know this as Braveheart country!
The scenery is spectacular, expect greenery and rolling hills as you travel towards your tour highlight - Stirling Castle. Sitting up high on a volcanic rock, you will have plenty of time to admire from both the outside and inside (entrance tickets are not included).
Explore and discover the history of Scottish Monarchs and more from the Great Hall to the Gardens. From Robert the Bruce, Mary Queen of Scots to William Wallace, discover their past and links to the Castle - simply fascinating!
There is a café to enjoy a refreshment or if you prefer, you can opt for a walk into Stirling town as an alternative. Whatever you choose, you will be immersed in the beautiful surroundings and views.
From here your tour enters The Trossachs - this is actually a National Park, simply known for incredible woodland, beautiful landscape, hills, trees and rivers, the scenery will take your breath away. The area is also steeped in history and known where the Lowlands and Highlands of Scotland meet.
The Trossachs is also home to highland cattle and you will enjoy a stop at the tiny village Kilmahog and you may be lucky to see the cattle up close!
Travel onwards to enjoy a stop at the charming Aberfoyle village, with time to explore and of course a welcome lunch stop, perhaps at a local cafe or pick up a souvenir.
From here, its back onboard to your final and unforgettable stop at Loch Lomond. Another must-see while visiting Scotland, a loch is the Scots way of describing a lake - expect a beautiful and peaceful setting and the perfect spot to capture those memorable photos.
You will have time to take a walk and enjoy the spectacular views of Scotlands largest Loch. You may not want to leave, but your transport will be waiting for your return drive to Greenock cruise port, with plenty of time for your cruise ship's departure.
