Overview
The port of Kotor is one of the most picturesque ports in the Eastern Mediterranean. This tour will take you on a journey of the beauty this destination holds.
Firstly, we will visit the small ancient Roman town of Risan which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here there will be a stop and you will enter the Roman Mosaic Museum. This museum demonstrates different artistic styles in various geometrical patterns. The guide from the museum will accompany you during the visit and will be on hand to provide lots of information about the history and the discovery of these famous artifacts.
After the museum tour, we will then board our tour bus for a short ride to the waterfront overlooking Perast and the Lady of our Rock island, before enjoying some free time to explore or simply sit and admire the views with a coffee. There may even be time to take a small boat ride around the island of Perast before the breathtaking journey back to the port.
On the way back, your guide will give you a short introduction to the walled town of Kotor - a short visit to the town may be possible if time allows. You will be returned back to your cruise ship in plenty of time for its departure.
