Overview
This excursion starts with a walk through one of the best-preserved medieval towns in the Mediterranean - Kotor. Protected and restored by UNESCO since a large number of the monuments were seriously damaged by the 1979 earthquake. Soak up the beauty of the extremely rich in cultural heritage palaces and churches lining the narrow cobbled stone streets.
Enter the famous cathedral of St.Tryphon, Kotors most impressive building, and continue by coach to the elegant town of Perast, where more of the riches accumulated in medieval times are built in the most significant examples of baroque architecture in Montenegro.
You will visit Our Lady of the Rock, placed right in the centre of the island that hides one of the most beautiful legends of the magnificent bay. A unique island church and museum that is a must-see when visiting Kotor!
You will return back to the port in plenty of time for your cruise ships departure.
