Enjoy a one-hour panoramic drive through the picturesque towns of Piedimonte Etneo and Linguaglossa, located at the foot of Mount Etna’s northern slopes.
As you pass through streets paved with black basaltic lava stone, your guide will share fascinating insights into local wine production and the fertile volcanic terrain that nurtures these unique vineyards.
Upon arrival at one of Mount Etna’s largest wineries, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the estate’s guide for an in-depth tour of the property.
Visit the pressing facilities, then descend into the fermentation area, partially built inside a real lava cave that naturally maintains the perfect cool temperature for winemaking.
The highlight awaits in the wine cellar, where the finest vintages rest in massive Slavonian oak barrels to create exceptional reserve wines.
